Will they show Slumdog Millionaire here in the Philippines? If yes, then when? I am itchin' to see that movie since i watched the Academy Awards and found out that they bagged a lot of awards.
I am working in a company that is owned by Indians. I have talked and even had serious conversations with them. In my 3 months of work in Motif, I have learned that most of the Indians are vegetarian, they usually flavor their foods with chili powder and are very fond with peanuts. That explains their unusual smell. (hihi!).
There's this guy named Jignesh, he is from the IT Department. We used to talk a lot before he went to India. He loves my pink cheeks, my personalized photo necklace and my uber glamorous mirror. He invited me to his country and told me how they entertained guests. They treat their visitors as God. Even if you are an enemy, they will serve you first with food and after that comes the discussion.
And then there's Nirja Sharma, the HR Head. She gave me colorful studded bindis.=)
Then Utpal, from the It Dept. too, and is very makulit!
Mr. Bhavesh Patel, the It Head, when he found out that i am a Nurse, he asked me to take his blood pressure.
Navneet and Biju, when they saw me one morning at McDonald's they insisted to buy me breakfast.=)
Rajiv Gupta, our COO, gave me Pocky chocolate pretzels when he found out i passed the Nurse's Board Exams.
What made me realize that my childood notion of Indians being scary is not true at all. Before you judge someone, get to know him first, you'll never know, a budding friendship is on the way.
And by the way, there's Deependra Bisht, our Site Director, he is so handsome!!! =)
