Here are the list of accomplished and unaccomplished things to do for Matthew's 1st bday=)

- Catering: A1 Catering Services
need to pay dowpayment to close the date

- Place: We're still finding a more suitable place that will hold a program for our 120 guests
Aj and I saw some venues already but i want to look for more until I arrived with the best.
Mommy and I will look on Friday and Saturday and probably settle our downpayment then.

- Theme: Disney Pixar's CARS

- Time: Maybe lunch time cause it's a SUnday that day

- Giveaways: I'm thinking of a personalized mug... but still open for more options!!!

- Foodcarts: I'll have the Chocolate Fondue already and still thinking of adding 2 more.

- Video: c/o Mommy

-Tarpaulin: c/o Mommy

- Invites: Still searching for the perfect ones

- Balloon decors: Still on canvass. Kidstar Kastles emailed me and it said that balloon decor rates depend on how big the place is and is really up to our budget.

- Cake: Don't know yet... and also, I want to add cupcakes and lollies!!!

- Host: Deciding to choose from a Magician or a Pupeteer..

- Pastor: Since we'll have the Dedication and the 1st Bday at the same time.

Do i still miss out on some things? Haay,,,pretty soon I'll have this all filled up. PROMISE!!!!

What Kind of Mom Will You Be?

I took a test in Facebook (What Kind of Mom Will You Be?) and here's the result:

YOU ARE GOING TO BE:

"The MILF"
You're going to be the hottie mom that all the kids want to hang out with. You have a way of utilizing your homely hottness to ensure that your children and their friends play nice. Some of the sweetest memories of their childhood will be when you bandage their scrapes and cuts and kiss their booboo's. Enjoy this role, because it'll be a defining phase of your life.

i love!

Tonight I thank God for Aj who is just right infront of my face asking what I'm doing...

I thank the Lord for giving me Matthew, who i've just seen awhile ago.. We visited his Pedia and she told us that Matthew is a very happy baby boy and it resulted from good parenting (ehem! ehem!). He doesn't have STranger Anxiety, which is evident on an 8 month old infant. I was wrong when i wrote on Multiply that he has minimal of that. HE HAS NONE=)

I thank the Lord for my paranoia. It makes me appreciate my sanity. But sometimes, it gets too overboard. Thanks still!

I thank the Lord for my job. I would not need elaborate on it because I'm not doin much but still, I'm getting paid.

And the Kapeng Barako which makes me up all night=)

I still have a lot of things, even people to be thankful for but that's it for now.

till then my love!

Excerpt

Torture

Every day it was the same. I woke up late, the eleven am sun burning a hole through my eyelids. I rolled over groggily to stare at my old friend, the floor. The first thought that entered my mind—as it was every morning for the past months— was Andrea. I remembered how she would smile at me with her gentle smile, how she would laugh, her whole face alight. I remembered how she left me. Until lunch—sometimes I would even skip lunch altogether—I would just think of Andrea and all the joy and pain we had shared.

Spider, my best buddy, told me that I tortured myself too much. And this was torture, there was no mistaking it. My brain was a computer with broadband and video on demand. I played back all my memories of Andrea: all our conversations that would last late into the night, the way she would look at me when I would talk, the way silence would creep between us when our eyes met, an invisible force drawing us closer and closer till our lips and tongues met as well. I saved all these memories like they were my most precious belongings. I had nothing else.

Cruelly, I clung on to hope. I invented an impossible fantasy where Andrea would suddenly return to me. She would come back home to the Philippines one day—today was as good as any—and she would appear at my door—my bedroom door no less—and I would open the door to find her standing there. “Surprise,” she would say in her coy way, and we would melt together in a tangle of arms, and lips, and long brown hair.

She was gone, and in my solitude I knew that hope was of no use. Every day it was the same.

ebooks galore!

when i'm at my desk in the office, i'm usually left with nothing to do. So to spare time doing some mind enhancing deeds and to also have one of my ultimate pleasures, which is Reading!!!, i scan the world wide web with free e-books...and voila! the books that i've been wanting to buy since but no bucks to pay for it is just a click away!!!=) yep, u read that right, your favorite book can be read via the internet, so no worries to save up for that hard bound you've been eyeing in Powerbooks or Fullybooked.

Currently, i'm reading A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks, then next in line would be Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.

i so much love to goin' to the office now=)
